Facility
Operations
The Cervalis facility offers you redundant network infrastructure, rapid deployment
of your operations, state-of-the-art controls and redundant power distribution
feeds.
Climate
Controls
Cervalis’ data center environment is climate controlled
by a fully redundant environmental system. These facilities include
redundant 20-ton H-vac air handlers, N+1 redundant chillers, and
emergency generator power backup.
Power
Feeds and Generators
Cervalis’ data centers are designed with
true N+1 redundancy (full redundancy), which provides 99.999% availability.
At any time each component is connected with multiple power and networking
connections. The data center’s power design is based on multiple
and divergent power substations, N+1, Uninterruptible Power Supplies,
redundant 2-mega watt backup diesel generators and N+1 generator
feeds to the building.
Network
Connectivity (Main Distribution Room)
The Cervalis main distribution
room is where the network connectivity of multiple carriers and service
providers converge. It’s a hub for switches, routers and cables that
link our customers to our high-speed network and the Internet. Cervalis
is vendor neutral in terms of network connectivity, which provides
customers with more flexible and cost effective network access. Cervalis’ self-healing
wide area network and redundant high- speed local area network infrastructure,
ensures reliability and scalability for customers.
